This winter wedding elopement at Hocking Hills could not have been more perfect. It was leap day 2020 and it had snowed just a few days before, up on the ridge it was almost all melted, but down in the Cedar Falls gorge the snow had stayed and the sun had come out allowing everything to glisten and sparkle.
Andrew and Pam got ready at a Yurt at Cedar Falls and then we traveled just down the road to the Cedar Falls trail head and walked to the waterfall, where they crossed the stream as Andrew lifted Pam and carried her to the rock on which they would be married. They read their own vows to each other in front of their best friend and a set of onlooking hikers. The waterfall roared and the hikers cheered upon their first kiss.
They spent some time among the sun, snow and woods celebrating and remembering this day in their history together. Their wedding video and photographs of their elopement will help them to remember just how perfect this day was.
