The fights with my sisters (mostly) faded away in my memories, while laughing and playing in the leaves, and hiding behind the curtain playing peekaboo stand out to me in the story of my family.

Questions and Answers

Choosing a family photographer is more than just taking pretty pictures and checking off a shot list. I believe it is important to tell your story, the heart behind your family unit. I want to collaborate with you to tell your story. Below I will answer some questions you may have about how we will work together to do just that.

If you want a weekend date, I recommend reaching out 3-4 months before your desired session. If you are available during the week then 1-2 months before your session should be fine.

There are countless locations to photograph and film your family at. I have a questionnaire we can go through to help find the perfect location that is more than just a pretty field and will suit your family perfectly. But above all, my favortite location is YOUR HOME! There is nothing like it! Your kids are comfortable there, snacks are there and this is the place your kids want to remember when they are 20.

You can always bring your dog. I love dogs.

If your dog has alot of energy, you may want to ask a friend to come along to hand the dog off to when they are not in the photo or you’ve had enough, especially if you have little kids as well. Also, bring treats!

But I fully believe dogs are part of the family too!

100% YES! There is nothing like it! Your kids are comfortable there, snacks are there and this is the place your kids want to remember when they are 20. You will not regret it down the line. These photos will be more than just pretty pictures they will be an time capsule back to a time when things felt right. You won’t know this now, but in 5, 10, 15 years you will get it!

I love it when families think of something they like to do together. It could be coloring with chalk, getting ice cream, playing with bubbles, riding bikes. I love sessions when we do some posed shots and then we move on to fun stuff to capture your kids real personalities. Then the kids can’t wait for next years session!

Usually I will get your photos back to you in 2 weeks

I have an online digital gallery that I load your photos on to and then email to you. If we do sessions year after year, all your sessions will live in this same gallery. You can share this gallery with family and friends as well.

Yes. My online gallery has the ability for you to order high quality prints from my print lab, but you are also welcome to download the full resolution images to print at the lab of your choice.
