I want you to see my summer family video! This was my first full time summer home with my kids and by the time we got to today, the first day of school, I thought I’d be so excited to kick them onto the bus and out of the house for 8 hours of peace. But instead I’m genuinely grieving the loss of our time together this summer. Don’t get me wrong we had lots of arguments, hitting, kicking and hair pulling moments. But I learned that kids have a way of forgetting the fights and the kicks and I should look over the valleys and to lean into the good moments that we have together because It all goes by so fast!
