On a warm June day in Athens, Ohio, skies shifted between sunshine and soft summer rain, 150 of the bride and groom’s closest friends and family gathered at the historic Zenner House to celebrate a love years in the making. With guests traveling from all over the world from New York City to Turkey, this wasn’t just a wedding—it was a heartfelt reunion and a backyard dinner celebration all in one. As an Ohio Wedding Photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to document, the Zenner House, with its rich history and classic architectural, was the perfect setting for this deeply personal and joy-filled wedding

The couple’s vision came to life in the most touching ways. The bride wore a gorgeous reimagining of her grandmother’s wedding dress, and her florals were grown by her childhood friend. Guests were welcomed with hand-painted watercolor signage made by the bride.
The couple had envisioned their wedding as the best dinner party they’d ever thrown, and they absolutely delivered. It was relaxed, fun, beautifully intentional, and bursting with personality. Every detail spoke to their story and their community—the very people who helped them get to this moment.
As an Ohio Wedding Photographer, capturing this day felt like being invited into something sacred. It was more than a wedding—it was a celebration of love, history, and the kind of joy that only happens when you gather all your favorite people in one place and just be together.
Congratulations to this incredible couple—your day was unforgettable in all the best ways. Thank you for letting me be part of it. It was the best day of fun, celebration and love.
