Wouldn’t you like to know it all right now so you don’t miss a thing? I know I certainly would. Well before I become grandma, I want to know what its like, so that I don’t miss a thing.
Obviously I can’t speak from experience as a grandmother but I asked my mom what is something she wants to remember about being a grandmother. I heard a lot in her voice about remembering that the little things are the most important. The time, the hugs, the kisses, the “I missed you’s”. Wanting to remember the time spent together just doing normal stuff, that her home is their home and they can play there and be themselves.
Maybe this is how a lot of grandmothers feel? It certainly is the theme of this family film video session (above) that features 4 of this family through great grandma, grandma, mom and 2 darling girls. They share a life together through the memories of play and being together.
