I love that I am a wedding photographer in the Midwest based in Athens Ohio, but I always jump at the chance to explore beyond my own hometown. I have often been a Cincinnati photographer or a Columbus photographer. But have yet to expand across the river! So I was quite excited when Marty and Kyla asked me to photographer their wedding on a family farm in West Virginia this summer.
Every wedding is so unique as loved ones come together to celebrate the union of two individuals becoming one. Marty and Kyla had the most beautiful outdoor boho-chic wedding among their family, friends and the beautiful woods. I was inspired by the intimacy of their relationship with each other (and their pup “Friday” too). The day unfolded to be so much hotter than expected for the end of September, but they couldn’t have made more beautiful memories of their wedding day.
