Newborn Photography at the Athens Ohio Public Library
This summer, I had the absolute joy of doing some newborn photography Athens Ohio. This turned out to be one of my favorite unexpected places — the Athens Public Library.
Mom and dad chose the library because honestly it was hot outside and they didn’t have to clean their home! Plus it’s beautiful! Full of bright colors, open spaces, and room to explore — which made it the perfect setting for a playful and relaxed newborn session. Instead of asking everyone to be still and smile, we let the afternoon unfold naturally.
Big brother was full of energy, darting between shelves, getting books from displays, and showing me his favorite spots. His excitement brought so much life to the photos and created moments that perfectly reflected this family’s dynamic. Baby sister, snuggled in mom’s arms or tucked against dad’s shoulder. She was calm and content, soaking in all the love around her.
The Athens Public Library offered a colorful backdrop that felt fresh and fun. The light pouring through the windows, the cheerful children’s section, and the movement of this growing family made the images feel vibrant and real. These are the kinds of sessions that remind me newborn photography doesn’t have to be at home or in a studio to be meaningful.
As a photographer specializing in newborn photography Athens Ohio, I love helping families tell their story in places that already matter to them. Whether that’s a library, a park, or your own backyard, these locations add layers of memory and emotion that make your photos feel timeless.
Welcoming a baby sister is a huge, and this session captured it beautifully. These images will forever remind this family of what life looked like right at the beginning of becoming four.
