There’s something extra special about returning to the place where your story began. For this recently engaged couple, Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, wasn’t just a beautiful backdrop for their engagement photos. It was the place where they first met, spent their college years, and began building a life together.
Coming back to campus for their fall engagement session made the experience even more meaningful!
We spent the afternoon exploring some of the most recognizable spots around Ohio University. From College Green, with its beautiful historic architecture and classic campus feel, to photos in front of Cutler Hall, all about OU’s charm. We also made our way to Baker University Center and Emeriti Park. There were a mix of playful moments, quiet cuddles, and plenty of laughter along the way. They actually had so much fun!
Fall is such a beautiful time for an Ohio University engagement session. We REALLY lucked out! This session was on October 29th. The leaved were at PEAK and it was such a perfectly warm day. I loved listening to their story as we walked around. I love when couples choose locations that mean something to them. Instead of simply finding a pretty place for photos, we get to revisit memories, share stories, and capture a little piece of their history together.
If you’re looking for Ohio University engagement photos inspiration, consider returning to the place where you met, had your first date, or spent some of your favorite years together. College Green, Cutler Hall, Baker Center, and Emeriti Park are all wonderful places to explore for photos.
Your engagement session should feel like you, and sometimes the most meaningful location is the one that’s been part of your story all along.
Congratulations to this sweet couple! I can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you!
