Just like so many brides and grooms in 2020, The Lord and COVID had new plans for Ali and Gage at their New Albany Country Club wedding venue, but they chose not to delay their marriage and opted for a small wedding this year with some of their closest family and friends and will celebrate next year in a big and glorious way with all their loved ones.
There seems to be about three options for couples who had planned for their wedding this year and my brides and grooms have done a little of it all. Some (like this wedding) are doing a small intimate “COVID” wedding this year and a large celebration next year to celebrate their marriage with everyone (this could even be an “One year Anniverary” reception). Second option was to move forward with their larger wedding with new COVID precautions social distance precautions, hand sanitizer and masks. Third option is to move the entire wedding day, original plans and all to 2021 and hopefully all can proceed as originally planned.
I can’t wait to celebrate with Ali and Gage again at their reception next year as they celebrate almost a year of marriage together! This years wedding although small still seemed so fairy tale like and magical.
I both photographed and filmed this New Albany Country Club wedding simultaneously with two cameras. It was great to be able to capture both still photos and the emotion and movement of the day. I just love my job and being a part of such an emotional event in two peoples lives.
